	Everyone can go up in a balloon It doesn't matter if you are young or old. You can invite the family, as well as work mates or customers to an unforgettable experience of nature, scenery and display of colour. You can invite one or ten, it doesn't matter, Far & Flyg has balloons for all occasions. If you want to give an unforgettable memory more to even more people, we can start with several balloons from the same field. If you are looking for something special, we can arrange that too - a wedding ceremony closer to God in a rarefied atmosphere, a company presentation or parachute from the balloon. 	Ballooning is easy Far & Flyg has been carrying passengers for more than twenty years and looks after everyone personally. Once you have ordered your flight, and when you want to have the experience of a lifetime, we will collect you at a pre-arranged place. From there, we continue on to the most suitable starting point just then. Your friends and relatives are welcome to follow along, although in their own cars. The wind decides the take-off point for our passage through the air and where we go. At all times we try to place our trip so you will be able to float over the central parts of the city. Maybe watch a blazing sunset over the city's towers and pinnacles. From above!
	Clothing The temperature during the flight is the same as that on the ground - although there is no wind we float with the wind! Therefore, you can dress as you wish, but seasonal leisure-wear is probably best, with good shoes without high heels. If it is wet outside, for example because of morning dew, then rubber boots are good. If you have decided to fly in the evening, you may feel chilly when the sun has set and we have landed. A sweater is good idea! Nowadays you are allowed to take pictures during the flight. An excellent opportunity for getting some unique pictures for the family album or the company presentation! Bringing a pair of binoculars will enhance your experience during your flight.
	Start Once at the take-off point, the preparations for the flight start. Anyone who wants to can help unpacking and filling the balloon! The pilot gathers the passengers into the gondola to go through the calculated flight plan and some practical details. It really feels as if the flight is already under way! When the preparations are ready, the LPG burner is lit and the balloon starts its ascent.
	Flight Suddenly, the ground disappears under your feet and you float away in the air. With a wonderful sense of freedom and anticipation! It only takes a few minutes before it has dawned on you; you are actually standing in the air and seeing the map spreading itself in reality beneath your feet. All uncomfortable feelings and thoughts of vertigo or falling out of the gondola are gone. Like the wind! Not even people who have been living for many years with a fear of heights think it uncomfortable. Most of the time they want to fly again. Soon! For almost an hour, you get the opportunity to enjoy the fantastic adventure a flight in a balloon implies. See all the places and views from a different angle. In a different light! Maybe in the romantic shimmer of a sunrise.
	Landing The landing is an experience in itself. The ground slowly approaches. The balloon gondola touches the ground, you bend your knees, the gondola bounces lightly once or maybe a couple of times more and then comes to a standstill. Anybody who wishes, can help with packing the balloon, it only takes a few minutes.
	Baptism The escort car from Far & Flyg arrives almost at the same time at the landing site with a nice pick-nick. All first-time passengers are, following old custom and tradition, baptised in champagne and knighted as counts and countesses and named after the landing site. In addition, you are given a diploma as visible proof of your adventure. An invisible proof of the adventure is the tremendous aesthetic experience that you will never forget. After the landing ceremonies and having consumed the pick-nick, we all return to the original gathering point. All in all, the adventure lasted four to five hours and you cannot understand where the time went. It only seemed to last a few minutes!
	Best time for ballooning Mornings and evenings are the best times for ballooning. That is when thermals* are at their minimum and the flight is exactly as calm, quiet and pleasant as it should be. We usually gather for the evening flights around 17:30 hrs at the start of the season, 19:30 hrs around midsummer and at around 16:00 hrs in September. *Thermals = Rising warm air bubbles making the ballooning unpleasant. Air bubbles are created when the sun warms the cold ground.
	Ballooning Weather Our season ranges from May to September. Swedish weather is at its best for ballooning then. As you probably understand, ballooning is very weather-dependant. For your sake, we avoid flying in bad weather, rain, and high winds or, at worst, snow. Therefore, we do not know until a couple of hours before the planned meeting if the weather will permit your balloon ascent. When ordering your freedom experience in a balloon, you are given a telephone number to call a few hours before the start. At that time you will find out if your balloon flight can be carried out.
